So following a late start, Paul picked up a hire car, we packed up some sandwiches and headed off for a walk on Long Bay.
Beautiful unspoilt beach with lots of rocky outcrops to climb over and slip on!!
Paul was the first to fall in a rock pool, followed closely by Katie then George and lastly Oscar. Only Molly and SueSue survived the beach with dry feet!!!
Drove back via a supermarket and were pleased to see that the prices in NZ are much better.
Sue cooked a teriyaki chicken dish for us this evening which was delicious.
