Headed out to the west to the Waitomo caves.
Amazing limestone caves filled with incredible glow worms which we viewed from a boat along the underground river.
Started the journey north back to Auckland.
Had a quick detour out to the coast for an ice-cream and arrived back here after a few hours of windy roads through beautiful countryside.
SueSue had cooked a nice meal for us and then Molly and I were picked up by Sam and Dick Downing and we visited the Bruce Mason Theatre in Takapuna to see Eve dancing in her school dance performance.
Eve and her twin Dan go to Rangitoto High School which is the largest school in NZ with over 3000 pupils.
The dance show was amazing with most of the Year 13 pupils dancing in group dances for their final assessment pieces. Eve is in Year 12 and performed in 4 dances which were beautiful.
