We crossed the mountain range through the middle of the peninsula and managed to get to Hot Water beach just as the tide was going out. In a section of the beach you can see the sand literally boiling and armed with spades we dug our own little hot water spa.
Amazing experience of being boiling hot on a cold beach with huge surf crashing just a few metres from us.
Paul has always wanted to stay in a motel where you can park outside your own room and he got his dream tonight. Can't say we slept very well on a sofa bed with all of us crammed in a little room but hey.....at least we had a delicious meal in a lovely fish restaurant. Kingfish was the dish of the day so we all ate it in some form or another. I would definitely recommend the risotto!
9pm to bed for all of us and we didn't stir til nearly 9 the next morning!!!
