Oh dear...torrential rain. We have been expecting it but not too good when it arrives!
Walked around the geo thermal area at Te Paui with Suesue and Bruce and saw the natural geyser and many hot mud pools, hot rocks (which were nice to sit on) natural springs and hot water pools. All very smelly and not great in pouring rain!
Dashed back to our motel having discovered that our waterproofs are not waterproof!
Takeaway burger and a change of clothes improved the day and after a couple of hours watching Toy Story 3 on the TV we then returned to the thermal area to get some better photos in the sunshine.
Finished the day well by a visit to 'Fat Dog' which was a great little restaurant.
All ate well.
