Last morning in the peaceful Atherton Tablelands.
Ethel very excited because decided to leave my hockey stick and stick bag with her.
Just too expensive to send home as well as taking 3 months to get back! Am glad she's pleased, I just need to get a new stick now!
Packed our suitcases again but at least it was only 6 this time!
Stopped off on the way to Cairns airport to see an amazing bungy jump with a view over the rainforest down to the sea. Oscar was very tempted so we climbed to the top to enjoy the view but not enough time to jump, so maybe next time!!
2 hour 25 min flight from Cairns to Sydney with a good view coming into the city.
Staying at the Marriott on Circular Quay which has a wonderful view of the Harbour bridge.
Went out for an Italian meal and it felt like walking out into London (apart from being warm!)
Loud and busy. Very different from our last week.
Hope you are all having a nice Sunday down at Bondi beach. Regarding car hire - do you have a GPS with you ? That would be a help if you want to hire a car at the airport and drive back (following us). What size of vehicle would you want ? Is a 5 seater big enough - they take 3 large case and 2 smaller ones ..... How big are yr cases ?? Sue xxxx
ReplyDeleteHi there - we have arranged for Alison & Bill to come with their car to the airport as well so we have 2 cars to bring you all back here. This would give you the choice of booking a car for the next day. Just say the word ... LOL
